Enslaved es un grupo musical de viking metal y black metal progresivo formado en Haugesund, Noruega, en el año 1991. Durante su trayectoria han evolucionado y experimentado con su música, manteniendo siempre aspectos característicos desde sus inicios. Sus letras, imagen e inspiración creativa se centran en la mitología y cultura vikingas. A pesar de que la banda ahora compone en inglés, sus canciones de los primeros discos usaban el islandés, noruego o nórdico antiguo.
